Objection

Jesus Is Michael the Archangel

Jesus is Michael the archangel, the first created spirit Son of Jehovah.

Hebrews distinguishes the Son from angels and commands angels to worship him; the New Testament places Jesus on the Creator side of the Creator-creature distinction.

State the Watch Tower claim

JW.org identifies Michael as a name for Jesus before and after his earthly life. That claim should be tested against the passages that distinguish the Son from angels.

Read Hebrews first

Hebrews 1 does not present the Son as the highest angel. It contrasts the Son with angels and places worship and divine throne language on the side of the Son.
