The Torah covenant is everlasting, so Christianity's new covenant claim contradicts God's covenant with Israel.
Jeremiah's new covenant promise is made within Israel's Scriptures, with Israel and Judah named directly, and centers on forgiveness and inward renewal rather than God's abandonment of his promises.
The phrase new covenant is not invented by the church. Jeremiah promises a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah.
Christian fulfillment should be argued as God's faithfulness to prophetic promise, not as a denial that God made real promises to Israel.
